Gift Ideas

- First and foremost, a gift is something
you give to someone because you care about them. A thoughtless gift only
shows how thoughtless you are.
- Give a gift that means something to the
receiver, not the giver. (If she collects cats, give her something with a
cat on it, not a bear)
- You can give an inexpensive gift, only,
if it will have special meaning to the receiver.
- Appliances and household items are not
gifts.
- Gag gifts are not meant for someone you
love unless a diamond comes with it.
- Gold jewelry and gem stones are always a
good gift.
- Only give clothes when you are sure of
the correct size and style of the receiver.
- Don't give shoes as a gift. They will
use them to walk out on you later.
- Gifts don't always have to be given at
holidays and special occasions. They should be given just because you
care.
- Flowers delivered to the office is
always a good gift and a nice surprise. Plus it makes everyone else in the
office just a little jealous.
- Do not give live animals as gifts unless
the receiver has already chosen the specific pet.
- An overnight getaway at an exclusive bed
and breakfast can be a great gift.
- A dinner out is not the gift. It is a
nice prequel to the actual gift.
- Gifts do not become loans when you break
up.
- Finally, once given, you can't ask for a
gift back when you break up. So, when dating, only give a gift you can
afford to payoff prior to its presentation.
